Azura, Benguerra Lodge and Marlin Lodge - a Comparison25 February 2010 12h10 | Mozambique GSA Even though it’s only the second month of the year and there are already a number of us that feel in of need another holiday. 2010 already proving to be positive and uplifting, with World Cup Soccer Fever building up daily, at the same time it’s been a very hard “working” start to the year and everyone is feeling the tension. The Bazuruto Archipelago is situated just off the mainland of Mozambique and is made up of the islands of Bazaruto, Benguerra, Magaruque and Santa Carolina (previously known as Paradise Island). Villa Chibuene – ideal for honeymooners and families - with two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, personal chef, private swimming pool and direct beach access. The Villas at Benguerra which have en- suite bedrooms, private pool, lounge, roof top terrace and fully equipped kitchen to mention but a few. Activities at Benguerra Lodge range from deep sea diving, snorkelling, fishing, dhow cruises and castaway picnics, to bird watching, visits to freshwater lakes, mainland excursions to Vilanculos, wind surfing, volley ball and horse riding. Marlin lodge Marlin Lodge situated on Benguerra Island is constructed from hardwood. Its 14 seascape Luxury Beach Chalets and three Executive Beach Suites are connected by wooden walkways. All chalets and suites are air conditioned, have mini bars and lounges, and come with en-suite bathrooms. Activities on offer include a variety of both motorized and non motorized water sports, marlin fishing and scuba diving. Day trips to other islands and sunset cruises are also available.
